Women's Ministry (aka WIC)

Psalm 34:3 "Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together."

There are many ways that women develop and nurture meaningful connections in their lives: talking with family members around the dinner table, meeting a friend for coffee or a walk, making a casual connection with other moms involved in their kids’ activities, engaging with co-workers on the job, and, in more recent years “friending” a new contact or old acquaintance.  As valuable as those social connections are, the most important connection that a woman can have is through a covenant with her Creator.  We as women of ACPC believe that our loving and holy God relates to us through his faithful and promise-keeping Son, Jesus Christ.  God has made an undying connection – a bond of grace – with us through the Gospel.  Because we are connected – covenanted – to God through Jesus Christ, we are also connected to his people, each other.

And that is the core of Women’s Ministry of ACPC—striving to strengthen the bonds of grace that we have in Christ by encouraging one another’s spiritual growth, service, and Christian fellowship, as we aim to enfold others into this local body by studying his Word, praying and developing relationships together.  When the Gospel takes root in our hearts, and God’s Spirit molds us into women after his own heart, Christ is making his loving sacrificial service visible and appealing through us, as we care for others in our church, our homes, and our communities.

To those ends, we offer Bible study classes from September through May as well as provide numerous opportunities for fellowship, ministry, and outreach throughout the year. To learn more about our activities, please visit the Women’s Ministry Table in the courtyard after worship.  Check the website calendar for a direct link to more detailed information.

Our Women’s Ministry, known as WIC, Women in the Church ,is connected to the larger denominational PCA WIC

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works."  Heb. 10:23-24
