This week, please remember Peter and Rebecca Jones in your prayers. Dr. Jones directs “truthXchange” (formerly Christian Witness to a Pagan Planet), “an organization dedicated to equipping the Church in bringing the good news of the Gospel to an increasingly pagan world.” 

Peter sends this urgent update on this week’s major outreach event in San Diego (June 17–18): “The Exchange Conference is upon us!…Please pray. You who receive our regular [newsletters] know and agree through your own observations that the culture has largely abandoned many of its Christian foundations, but all is not lost. The Lord is calling many in the rising generation to a renewed dedication to His Truth and His Word, which endure forever. The vision of our conference is unique in its genre—to instruct young Christians, their leaders and influencers to think carefully about what is happening to spirituality in our time (a turn to ‘One-ism’—All is one, all is the same), and then to offer them renewed confidence to speak the gospel (‘Two-ism’—the Creator/creature distinction), no matter the cost.…How does One-ism or Two-ism affect the law, the arts, our worship, or our young people’s education? How can Christians address the issues of homosexuality and the uniqueness of the Christian gospel in a way that shows compassion to others, yet maintains the truth of God’s Word?”

Peter writes that “God has put this conference together and paved the way for it in the most amazing ways.” He adds: “A huge thank you to many of you who have caught the vision of truthXchange, see its crucial importance, and have donated time, prayers, creativity and finances to make this ministry and this conference possible.”
