This week, please remember PCA church-planters Juan and Martha Arjona in your prayers as they serve among Latinos in the Escondido, California area. Ask God to use the Arjonas’ faithful witness to bring about many conversions, many well-grounded disciples, and a growing congregation to testify to His glory! Juan sends this update: 

“September was busier than expected. Outside of the usual weekly work, we had a women’s conference in partnership with other nonprofits and the school district; supporting our brother Phil Hoadley for his ordination exam in the presbytery (he will now work as an ordained pastor beside me); Martha launching a new women’s ministry; sharing in county and city staff meetings about our mission and philosophy of work; and continuing with our daily SafeWalk program and the weekly food distribution. October looks the same, with two prayers before the City Council, mercy team meeting, and the Day of the Child committee beginning to plan, some baptisms, and new-members service! Praise God for all His work among us.”
