Missions Ministry - Roe Family
Please pray for Morgan and Patti Roe and their five children as they serve in Tijuana, Mexico. The Roes’ ministry disciples and facilitates new church congregations to reach their community for Christ by meeting spiritual and physical needs. The Roes are part of BEAMM (Border Evangelism and Mercy Ministry). They write:
About 5 years ago Pedro Martínez lost his sight and kidney function from undiagnosed diabetes. He receives dialysis twice a week and has been told that his life expectancy is short. Still a young man at 35, Pedro despaired for his family—Judith and their two children. Though he had been a Christian from his youth, God’s Word became real in this crisis and Pedro realized his duty was to glorify the Lord despite his condition. Unable to continue his work as a carpenter, and with dialysis quickly consuming all of his savings, this journey began with faith in God’s provision. He started a Bible study in his home, and two months ago he told me that he and his family wanted to start a Christian café—an evangelical endeavor that would be a peaceful refuge with Christian music, literature, and fellowship. Three weeks later, he announced the grand opening. How is it that a blind man with such great needs can get his priorities so right?”
