This week, please remember Paul and Lisa Carden and his family in your prayers! Paul oversees the Centers for Apologetics Research (CFAR), an international network of Christian agencies equipping believers for discernment, the defense of the Gospel, and cult evangelism.

Today Paul leaves for St. Petersburg to lead a week of strategy meetings with his core ministry team in Russia. CFAR helps Russian-speaking Christians in more than a dozen nations to recognize and resist the deception of imported and local cults through on-site training, radio, video, the Internet, and more. Paul and his team especially ask you to intercede for their efforts to mount a broad response to the PR blitz mounted by the Mormons as they prepare to dedicate their temple in Kiev, Ukraine—the cult’s first in the former Soviet Union.

Be sure to pray, too, for Lisa and their children at home while Paul is away.
